I recently got banned from the severe weather board because I was harassing the mod to tell the board what the sea level rise in Vancouver was for the past 100 years. He lives in Vancouver so he has a personal stake in this topic. He kept putting me off and I kept repeating the question. Its easier to know what has occurred over the last 100 years than to know what WILL occur in the NEXT 100 years.

Finally to shut me up he provided some sea level rise links for Vancouver. Still not providing a number of inches or feet of sea level rise for the past 100 years. These links concentrated on future sea level rise ( OMG!!! We're all gonna drown!!)

But in them I did find my answer. Make sure you are sitting down...no coffee in your mouth. The total sea level rise for Vancouver the last 100 years is...3.7 mm. For those not up on metric, that is less than 1/4" in 100 years. This is the collosol threat we are facing in Canada. 3.7mm/100 years. But,but, but what if it doubles?

Thats 1/2" every 100 years. Head for the hills! Save yourself !

So for exposing that kind of info I had to be banned.
