Relevant suppliers declined to comment on the official exposure of the SU7 supply chain.

I think a UFS controller price is less than 50 cents per unit, so it's hard for that product line in autos to become a material revenue contributor until units hit .... 100 million per year? That would be ~$50 million sales. Depends on how many SIMO controllers per car I suppose.

SIMO's Ferri product is there own module which goes into autos for memory storage applications, but I don't think it's hudely successful.

As for UFS 4.0, SIMO has a controller and so does Micron. Micron is the sales channel of UFS 3.1 and below for SIMO UFS 3.1 controllers. When the design slot moves to UFS 4.0 down the road, it's hard to see SIMO getting the sale rather than Micron, but lets see.

I think UFS 4.0 is a coming train wreck for SIMO's UFS sales, which is not apparently factored into the current share price. Micron has an internal solution, so I doubt Micron sells any of SIMO's UFS 4.0 controllers. UFS 4.0 is expected to go mainstream in the cell phone segment (the massive market segment) in 2025. I don't know who is going to buy SIMO's UFS 4.0 standalone controller rather then modules by SK, Samsung and Micron which all include DRAM, NAND and internally developed UFS 4.0 NAND controllers.

Franklly I have a hard time understanding SIMO's recent share price strength.
