Updates on my biopharma holdings

Decided to exit CBAY, MRNS and MRSN.

Losses were 25% on CBAY and Marinus (both have rallied a bit recently).

Mersana loss was about 70%. The latter was far worse than it should have been -- because I failed to follow my own discipline. I sell 30% of shares if the stock moves up 50%. Failed to do that with MRSN. Had I done so, my loss would have been about 30-35%, not 70%.

As I've indicated before, my biopharma holdings are a small % of what I own and I can afford to lose $$ hoping the upside is worthwhile.

Which brings me to AUPH. Boy is mgmt ever good at making sure the company won't get sold. Big drop today after announcement of hiring execs seems to squash the probability of a buyout. fwiw, I did follow my discipline on my AUPH holdings, so even at $10, I'm about even. I think AUPH is worth a good bit more than $10 per share as a standalone biz. And a good bit more if its gets bought.
