I'm skeptical and prefer to buy only the items I want to buy, not being forced into a subscription mode. Personally, I don’t like the subscription model, but I hardly listen to any new music at all except when I am listening to the radio while driving with the family. Especially for younger folk who listen to all the new music as it is coming out, and can listen to older music if the subscription service has a nice catalogue, I think subscription is probably a good deal as long as you can continue to afford it. Because if the subscription goes bye bye, then you don’t have any music, or you need to go with a service that runs off of ad revenue. Depending on how the new Siri related service runs, it may be a real good deal, as long as they don’t plan on increasing the price if they get a lot of people signing up. My guess is that are going to use this as a way to lead people into their more expensive music streaming services.
