So chrome is sending https on it's own. It also sends the Referer (sic) header. And maybe that's what stockcharts doesn't like. I've only put links as text in messages. Not sure what happens if you use a hyperlink with https. I didn't see any examples of live links with https for stockcharts.



With http links and the allow insecure content setting, there's no Referer header and stockcharts redirects to https.
