| | Just facts gene. Just facts. Trump is the cleanest president ever
Forbes magazine reported on June 1, "ABC News chief legal analyst Dan Abrams said on The View that 'all signs point to a likely indictment' of former President Donald Trump.
"Noting that Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. has convened a special grand jury to consider evidence in the criminal investigation into Trump’s business dealings, Abrams said 'those of us in the media always want to try to be careful,' but 'you don’t get a grand jury like this unless they believe they have evidence of a crime...so all the evidence, all the signals are towards a likely indictment of someone, if not more than one person.'"
The story later said, "The View co-host Joy Behar, however, was skeptical. 'Trump has gotten away with impeachment, he’s gotten away with inciting a riot at the Capitol, he got away in the Mueller investigation...what makes you think they’re going to get him this time?'
"Abrams said 'this is different...here we’re not talking about Donald Trump as president with the protections the president has...in this sense, he’s being treated just like everybody else.'"
Behar and Abrams laid out the case for declaring the cleanest president ever because no one else in American history has been investigated so often by so many people and never been charged with any crime.
His accusers, however, are another matter. The media played up Michael Avenatti as a David about to smote the Goliath president. Avenatti appeared on CNN 74 times and on MSNBC 57 times in a 10-week period in 2018, a record for a creepy porn lawyer.
He went on Tucker Carlson's show.
Once.

That chyron is the height of Tucker Carlson's journalistic career.
Brilliant!
By playing Avenatti up as the man who would bring down Trump, the media in essence vouched for him.
Three years later we discovered he tried to extort millions from Nike.
We also discovered that he bilked 5 clients of millions of dollars in settlement money. The victims include Geoffrey Johnson, a paraplegic man.
The Daily Beast reported, "Avenatti had represented Johnson in a lawsuit against Los Angeles County, after a suicide attempt left him paraplegic, and negotiated a $4 million settlement.
"As The Daily Beast reported, police picked Johnson up during a mental-health episode in 2011 and transferred him from the hospital to jail. Despite warnings from his family, jail staff didn’t put Johnson on suicide watch and he tried to hang himself, leading to his permanent disability.
"Johnson, however, never saw this settlement. According to prosecutors, Avenatti made small incremental payments to Johnson totaling $124,000 after moving his funds to accounts linked to Avenatti and his moribund coffee chain.
"Avenatti purchased the now-defunct Seattle-based Tully’s Coffee in 2014 and, within years, the company racked up a nearly $5 million federal tax bill."
The media slept with the creepy porn lawyer and is now shocked to discover he is creepy.
The Washington-based media lives in a swamp. It assumes that everyone is a swamp critter, Naturally, it believed that Donald Trump did something crooked in his life and it was only a matter of time before those real sharp-as-a-whip geniuses at the FBI figured out what crime he had committed.

But they didn't. They could not nail Donald Trump on anything. Even when they ran roughshod over lawyer-client privilege and seized his lawyer's records, the FBI could not pin anything on Donald Trump.
Donald Trump has no secrets from the government.
The feds have everything on him. His tax records. Notes on his private talks with this lawyer. Uncounted hours of tapes from when Obama spied on his campaign. Likely, even more tapes from when the FBI and NSA spied on him in the White House.
And they have nothing.
Not one thing.
Stalin's secret police chief, Lavrentiy Beria, is famous for saying (in Russian), "Show me the man and I'll show you the crime." After Stalin died, someone showed Beria's crime and he was executed.
They keep showing and showing Donald Trump but they never show a crime. |
