Curious...

Feb 26 - PPG announces expansion ISO UDC in Ireland beginning in early 2022
April 1 - LG and UDC sign an extension to the current contract for 5 years - 2026
April 10 - first rumors about LG providing OLED screens to Samsung in 2021 and 2022
May 6 - UDC 1st qtr conference call - not raising yearly estimates despite beating 1st qtr estimates
June 26 - second rumors about LG providing OLED screens to Samsung in 2022-2024

I could also add PPG's expansions ISO UDC before Apple went with OLED screens but...

It is curious that PPG is expanding in Ireland beginning in 2021, that LG signed a five year extension with UDC through 2026 and that rumors started shortly after those two facts.

Competition in the LCD and OLED space is huge. Samsung, LG and eventually BOE will make up the primary OLED players. In order for UDC/PPG to continue to support these and other companies they have to anticipate demand and develop improved products and, in conjunction with PPG, increase the capability to meet future demand.
BUT, if UDC gives any hint of customers increasing demands then everyone starts rumors and digging deeper into why they are increasing production or raising guidance or... Confidentiality rules.

Just my opinion.
