Brian Lee typically gets the first question, and the "why are you sandbagging on guidance" question is pretty much a go-to for him. He stated it quite well today.

Basically, Lee noted the obvious. Q1 hit 134. Leaving guidance at 530-560 basically says you are expecting flat for the rest of the year despite historical trends that show Q1 is seasonally slow. Lee then asked whether UDC thought Q1 was boosted by some "pull-forward" or inventory build in China (As happened a while back.) Management noted that Chinese numbers are sometimes "lumpy," but there is no specific indication of an inventory build.
I think Lee made his point which aligns with ZikZak's comment that Sid and Steve need to learn to play the game better. If you beat estimates on revenue, you should raise guidance to match. Otherwise, it is either an obvious sandbag or there are some discrete risks you should be discussing.
