It is Ok to use CEO's to help government to meet our major crises, but the solutions have to be organized and regulated by experts in government, so that mitigation is pin pointed, and results verified.

The challenges we are meeting in the 21rst century require the same sort of organization and effort we put forth in WWII.

Just as in WWII, we are facing essentially, government against government, and should not be depending on business leaders as our leaders.

Business leaders are not trained to address social, or political problems. Using business leaders to solve social problems was the mistake JFK made and every president since e.g. McNamara .

Business leaders get MBA's, what we need to do the job of governing are people with MPA's.

Totally different programs with different goals.

MBAs are trained to run businesses, and MPA are trained to solve social and political problems.

I had a class with the Dean of my school for foreign diplomacy, that had a reading list of 60 books and covered international diplomacy from the 1500's to the present day including the WWII bombing patterns.

<,

Give our CEOs money and we excel. Take it away and they collapse. It's the same with the vaccine. Our CEOs didn't do squat to create a vaccine for China even though it was devastating 1.4 billion people. None of them thought of making money off of it? One company did, and only one, BioNTech. After they had a vaccine they partnered up with Pfizer to help with some testing and of course the manufacturing.

US CEOs need money from the government. Without government telling them what to do they're clueless. I can't blame China for their ineptitude and incompetence
