Dear Street Cynic....Mebbe I can give you a time saving tip.

I only post from my own computer, so there is no need to ever sign out of SI.

And if you don't sign out, when you log into any thread, the list of posts will show all of the posts that you have not read (on each thread) in a bright blue color.

The posts that you have read on that thread automatically will be changed to a pretty pink.

So walla! You simply click on the first blue post - which will be where you left off - and start reading.
