I have no opinion in regard to that short term, but I will say SPX is headed to 5500-6000 before a likely brutal secular bear begins.

Your 5500 - 6000 call is noted.
Hopefully nobody is arguing here because nobody knows what the market holds in store for us in the short term.

We must not discount the damage that cyclical bear markets can have on a portfolio.
As we all know a cyclic bear market can wipe 50% of the value of stocks in fairly rapid time.

Both Cyclic and Secular bear markets can be very bad for your financial health if you are not prepared which you seem to be.
