Does anyone have a feel for why Brooks was punished today?

I understand moving out of an index would require a reshuffling from one index to another.

Are the small cap indexes so much bigger than the mid caps, such that there would be more selling vs mid cap buying.

Going to a mid cap index is a nice event im my simple way of thinking.

All this regiggering will be done by January 7th, so we'll see soon enough.

I watched the big drop and quite a few peoepl paid good money for the January 65 calls vs previous open interest (which was a lot of what I had sold a while back).

BRKS recovered nicelyintraday but gave a lot of it back at the close.

As BRKD achieves revenue of 1 billion it will no doubt go on further acquisition trails.

They just are not in the same league as dry ice container manufacturers.

Hoping everyone here has had a very profitable year. BRKS was my outperformer this year.

I have sold 31.8% of my position, plus some covered calls due to expire in 15 and 105 days from today ranging from $60.00 to $80.00.

I hate to sell such a great solid stock, but I'm now on the market's money and will enjoy the dividends from here on out.

Wishing all here a very prosperous New Year.

Great health and happiness to you all.

Even though much uncertainty has been a hallmark of 2020, I'm sure we'll find something to worry about in 2021 as well.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL HERE!!

Bob
