Exactly. And if one looks, they will see that many phrases they use are lifted from other sources without credit.

This kind'a reminds of the volcano enthusiast living in the Phoenix area who had a Web site following volcano news. He had/has no academic training in any science, but with an eruption in Alaska some years ago, the one that altered much commercial flying, local news went to him for commentary assuming he was an expert. They were followed by national news services. He luxuriated in the attention, but did make some errors in his comments. No serious damage done, except to the red-faced reporters when the truth was revealed by real geologists.

Hey, this is why Snopes came into being. We can't take something at face value just because it is in print (or digets).
