Tricky, the biotech sector isn’t for everyone. It’s not hard to tell here who have the stomach for it. It’s one thing to own a biotech like this, it’s another to have enough of ones investable assets in it that drops that occur in biotech with a degree of regularity causes fear. We all experience a level of concern with a drop, but we also know that if there’s some fundamental reason behind it that hasn’t come out, it’s going to fall quickly to a level that’s probably a buy anyway. There’s no sense in sitting at our desks with our finger on the sell button trying to guess if the market is playing around or if there’s a serious issue at hand. Most of us have learned that selling in fear or panic usually bites us and we don’t find out in time to sell before the damage is done if something really is amiss. We are at the mercy of the market, we only make it worse if we are at the mercy of our emotions.
That’s not to say that no one her has not gotten out ahead of bad news, but that’s probably a stroke of luck.

Hold only the amount of this kind of stock that lets you sleep at night. For some, that might not be much. For some of us, I guess we are hard sleepers.
