El Paso is rabidly anti-Trump. They don't want a border wall at all, understandably, or really, a border -- if you ask many in that area. I understand that, but they would do better trying to work through congressional channels than just trying to be partisanly hostile (which the politicians in EP are).
I know a lot of people there and honestly, I think that border area works better than most others. But there is still a lot of bad stuff happening via that border crossing.
