Really none of that matters until we have more competitive OSs. So far that's the one thing China can't do... and even if it could I think western consumers aren't going to trust a Chinese OS even if they offer vastly better hardware. Like nobody seems to look at chips speeds on phones much... Samsung pretty much keeps them a secret... the phone I uses isn't listed on Wiki, and its faster and has a better camera than more expensive phones. Dirt cheap, does the job. Not as good as an iPhone though but I'm getting the hang of it enough with everything except I don't trust it to do banking or online purchases.

Its a bit inconceivable that Google had the smarts to buy Android, but can't do a better job with it. Same old same old with techies being out of touch with everyone else.
