Glenn - thanks for sharing this article, and I had read the WSJ article as well. I remain unclear why I should move my Chase checking account to Google - what is Google offering?

My Chase account has direct deposit from my employer, and I pay my bills primarily online with this account - It is non-interest bearing (with a decent amount of cash), but I would not move it to collect some de minimis interest rate. I don't really care if Google sees how I spend my money through my checking account - it is principally credit card payments, utilities, some contractors, tax payments, mutual fund direct deposits, some charity payments and that's about it. The gold mind to Google would presumably to see the details of my credit card payments that I and my family make.
