|Hi E_K_S, I was a bit greedier.|
Three cents a share -12 cents annually.
50 % payout of this last quarter and year before too : Net income for this period grew to $2,105,377 (or $0.0657 per share), from $1,931,281 (or $0.0602 per share).
What I'd really like to see is they expand their offerings on a bigger footprint - go national with a food company that has the logistics.
Johnsonville brats did that with then at the time SaraH Lee.
They created a private joint venture.
It was a huge success. Sarah Lee made them an offer, and the privately owned company (Staire family) decided to buy back the stock and remain private. Sarah Lee made a lot on the stock sale and Johnsonville became a national brand and never looked back.
Their first plant is 2 miles down the river forem my Wisconsin home and is now a huge complex with a similar plant in Montana. The plant manAger said they had to move to Montana, because they have a hard time buying enough pork locally to supply the Wisconsin plant. Montana has some BIG hog farms.
If they did that in the next 4-6 years - it would be 10 BAGGER!
