|ND, Please post what you will from your conversation with the professor. I had not intended to post anything. My attendance was not so much to gain information as I like to do that away from public forums. I was there to speak on the sidelines with management other than Joe, BOD, and shareholders/friends of old. And to see a couple of plays with my kids. |
Two things stand out for public consumption, and may not be new to most of you:
1. One legacy auto OEM is expected to adopt spd that would dwarf Daimler volumes starting in calendar year 2020 (It was not entirely clear if this is one model or more than one model, i.e. one ICE and one electric vehicle), and 2. Panasonic will begin production in 4Q 2019 of transparent display product with spd.
I have travelled to personally review all of RFI's spd film makers over the years, including Korea, Japan, and Italy. I plan to see the one in Germany in September. Gauzy is using TelAviv as a lab for Stuttgart. The new Gauzy plant will produce film before September, but the grand opening will happen when the big wigs are back from summer vacation. Octoberfest anyone?
2020 remains the year of initial revenues from announcements that are to come over the next several months.
The market may want more than announced contracts, but it seems the numbers will indeed follow, this time.
