I am "one handed" on that one, but on the whole I am for it.

IMO, Trump holds the winning hand with the China tariffs. The longer the impasse goes on, the greater the risk that long term damage to China's economy will increase, as companies move their manufacturing and assembly facilities to other lower cost countries. And once they move out of China, they won't be coming back.

The US economy is in far better shape to ride out the dispute and China, in spite of all its posturing and denial, knows it. Trump knows it as well. I think the "trade war" will end sooner rather than later as a result, but time will tell..
