Are any of you familiar with a switchable glass technology that is based on Niobium Oxide?
They also were presenting at InnoTrans and Glasstec this past year. Wasn’t Joe Harary in attendance at both of those?

They seem to be putting together an alpha testing of their smart glass electronic control package.
They further purport that they are able to do a variety of colors ( to accommodate the architectural market they will offer a neutral gray color of smart glass windows, which they describe as a critical must-have to secure the A&D community), by mixing different nanocrystals, lower cost by printing directly to the glass (not a film based tech), and the technology permits variable levels of tinting. Commercial launch of the product is coming in the first half of 2019. NANOEC is gearing up to launch its pilot line operation:

There are at least two companies that are working on equipment, processes and presenting this new light control technology:

Heilitrope further purports that their product will work in glass for architecturally, automotive and transportation markets. Check the comparison chart at the bottom of this link.
