Silicon carbide substrates now constitute 5% of our revenue and are growing rapidly. Silicon carbide semiconductors are in strong demand in our performance wireless applications due to their thermal efficiency in gallium nitride based devices. The demand for silicon carbide semiconductors is even stronger in power electronic applications due to their wide vanguard properties enabling high electrical power conversion efficiencies in electric vehicles, industrial motor drives and other applications driven by the demand for clean and renewable energy.
