my only other ban against me occurred early in my SI experience.

I have a very different approach to TA... and I was accused of being too competitive because my readings were contrary to others on the site. They later proved right (the S&P eventually did hit 2500 and did not plummet as was the current thought of the time) though at the time that view was unpopular.

But it was all good for me in the end. It resulted in my creating a fantasy portfolio. Fantasy in that it operated with play money but it was composed with real stocks based on decisions made before the trading day... not hindsight and gave me an opportunity to display my TA and I am completely open in how I come to those decisions. I do that as an education for anyone who wants to learn what I do. This portfolio is up 16% after 8 months which would be pretty good for a long term trader for a year and we still have 4 months to go.

I also learned a lot about the US marketplace in the process. I am Canadian so there are a lot of things in that market that are decidedly different from the Canadian market. I am in the process of setting up a similar portfolio of Canadian stocks to demonstrate my TA in that arena.

So in reality that ban was indirectly good for me.... I will confess to sensitive to unreasonable criticism and will defend myself if provoked.

Anyway this is enough of a discussion on my being banned.
