LG Display expands to OLED field | 2017.11.27

LG Display announced that it will launch a special security enhancement support program for key partners of organic light emitting diodes (OLED). The program, which was jointly organized with the Korea Industrial Technology Protection Association, will be provided to six partner companies related to OLED core equipment and materials such as Jusung Engineering and Inveria.

First, LG Display and Korea Industrial Technology Protection Association (KITA) dispatch security experts to diagnose the security level of partner companies and plan to implement customized programs for each partner company.

Since 2014, LG Display has been supporting information security for 20 LCD-based suppliers. This time, the target was extended to OLED partners.

In the past 24 days, a contract agreement was signed with the Vice Chairman of Kyeonghoon Industrial Technology Protection Association and the CEO of LG Display Management Support Group (Vice President) at LG Display's Paju Plant in Gyeonggi Province.

"LG Display has strived to protect its high technology and business secrets as well as its partners," said Lee Bang-su, vice president at the ceremony. "OLED is a core technology of the country, "He said.
