|Since I rave about all my OLED displays I thought it appropriate to post this here since I posted it on the AVS Forum. I didn't notice it until the TV was moved upstairs last week after the E7 was delivered....and the kids were playing a game on it. I've always known to avoid fixed images but I didn't realize that although the ticker looks like it is moving, parts of the ticker are fixed, they never change. That is where this occurred.|
Pretty much the same issue, I rely on CNBC and if it burns an image in so be it. I used my EC9300 daily for 2 1/2 years, about 10K hours, and there is a fixed image where the ticker runs. That TV has transitioned to the kids and they can't see it and could care less anyway. It really isn't that bad and can only be seen in certain situations, but it is there.
I just bought a 65E7P and I won't be watching CNBC much on it, I moved an old LCD into my office and that is that.
