Hi Underexposed,

I have been a subscriber for over 16 years now. In that time, I have gone through periods of using the scan engine a lot, reading tons of the great information on the site, and trying almost every indicator for at least a short time.

The SCTR does look very interesting and I have it as one of the 10 indicators on my default charts. I added it after reading a great blog by Chip Anderson (I think). Or it might have been an article he wrote for the Newsletter.

The SCTR is there but I don't really use (other than confirmation of what I am seeing) or rely on it.

My go-to indicators, arrived at after a lot of years of trial and error, are CMF, PMO, the EMA's (I use 20, 50, and 200), ADX, MACD, and Full Stochastic. Of those, the EMA's and ADX are critical to most of my decisions.

Someone else here on the forum may have a better perspective on the SCTR.
