Thanks for posting this article about mesh WI-Fi. I have had problems getting a signal to parts of our house, and after a bit of research I bought the Orbi-3000 system, which includes one base and one satellite, to replace a six year old N router.

The Orbi works very well for my traditional brick two story plus finished basement house, with the modem and base router located in a corner of the basement far from desired second floor internet access. Setup was fairly easy and straightforward. Definitely provides better signal to the far edges of our home, and is faster as well.
