First here's a picture of your motherboard.

There's 4 connections for SATA cables at the lower right. ( 3 white & 1 black )

Next here's a picture of the the inside of a Gateway DX 4885.



The 3.5" hard-drive is at the lower right and above the drive I've placed red brackets around 4 holes that look like they are for an SSD, but can't be sure.

You will probably need a power cable and SATA cable though and SSD's don't come with screws

Also here's some items at Amazon that could be used to install an SSD in your 5.25" bay. It would take both these to do that. Another option would be a 5.25" tray for your SSD, but you would end up buying your cables separately and this kit has all the cables and screws you could possibly need.
