Found reading Anne Rice for the first time this summer enjoyable, the second in the vampire trilogy 'The Vampire Lestat'. Was much more than expected, traced her mythology back to ancient Egypt, but starts from pre-revolutionary France. She has had quite a run with it & her writing deserving it .

She's come back around to Catholicism,avidly against Trumjp and holds court over on Twitter thought you'd enjoy one of her latest tweets :
