Well, hey, that was a rather presumptuous call so early in the racing season. As you can see, many of these nags are still thoughtfully ruminating on their oats. Indeed, my royal bloodline stallion has just decided to stick his nose out of the starting gate to test the wind; while his rear end contentedly discards any excess baggage that might hinder his full stride down the home stretch. I've dubbed him Count Fleet since a boat load doesn't fully describe the number of shares I hold.

We have yet to hear from clear's ZEN (we'll all be tearing up tickets if the rumoured buyout plays out), marcos' PKT (although I can't help but think that he had an out of the blue dyslexic moment when he made his choice--but then he might think the same of mine), or Bullish2010' BZI (thought of it, but I decided to buy more POET).

Still, I will concede that a .14 cent jumping off point for AKR does have it's advantages.

My betting mantra remains POET to $15 in 2015. And heinz44 will back me all the way to the claims wicket.

And now back to my seat in the grand stand.
