To use stock screeners effectively, you first have to define what you looking for. Then you determine what criteria you should use in the screener to find companies that meet your criteria. Review my first three postings on this thread:

Many of the old stock screeners that I used to use are gone. Here are a few that you might find useful.
This one is pretty good and seems to have one of the larger databases.
