New buy today: OFIX -A revisited buy today on the haircut and downgrade. Looking for a dead cat bounce. 30 million coming in from an insurance settlement next QTR. should help with a buyback program to help support the stock price down the road. Interesting enough, in the medical device field. Only yesterday ICUI has decided to possibly put itself up for sale. I suspect we will see a lot of struggling medical device companies merging or being acquired as they will be dealing with sinking margins, lower reimbursements, and the medical device tax.
