I'm back. With full power around the house. Really, really good to have heat and light and internet connections and so on. The old cliche applies--you don't know how important something is to you until you lose it. I expect long essays, major poetry, whatevers to be written about electrical power all over the northeast. I'm now subscribed to the theory that the republican establishment in Ohio will see to it that Obama doesn't get that state. By hook and by crook and by all other imaginable means. So I'm no longer counting, in my own tables, Ohio for Obama. He will have to win it without Ohio. I hope I'm wrong but it doesn't look promising right now. All of the stuff Sam has posted about voter suppression in Ohio makes sense to me.
