I do think the industry, by kowtowing to the carriers, has been losing sight of what the primary utility is... And what is that "primary utility"? But, that there is obviously a brass ring hanging right there waiting to be grasped... doesn't mean anyone is doing what's necessary to do to enable grasping it... ? Did you miss the 100's of millions of smartphones that have already been sold? Did you miss the brass ring of Apples stock being up 600% since they introduced the iPhone? If that wasn't a brass ring then they don't exist.
