Olin just yesterday buying a compliment company and now Georiga Gulf buying the CA business from PPG. This should keep suitors away from Georgia Gulf, as PPG will own part of GG after completion. OXY tried merging it's CA operation with Olin many years ago, but the FTC ruled against it. The market seems to like the deal. Interestingly, GGC is trading now above the rebuffed 30 dollar a share offer. Will Westlake make a move soon?
