Briefly, SI messed up and lost the first board which I started before this one. I forget the process but there were a few weeks of posts missing. I think they were changing servers or something. At the time, it seemed a shame but I guess it doesn't really matter now as it's in archeological time. Internet time was a peculiar phenomenon which lasted only a year or two. I'll read through the rest of your interesting ramble through archeological time when I have got a bit more time and a nice cup of tea.
