been trying to figure out why my PC w/ XP MCE 2005 is choking-- specifically I cannot run Media Center Extender Network Performance Tuner and cannot tune TV. The answer seems to have something to do with XP MCE requires .net framework 1.1--specifically a certain file. These instructions did not work for me: support.microsoft.com So I found this and will give it a whirl. blogs.msdn.com
