I just had dinner with my Aunt again last night. This time my cousins were there too, so I had the chance to rag on my cousin Louis, who arranged the video recorder. It would have been great to see her hands. The piano is a neurological challenge as it involves most of the senses in playing as well as the physical body. I'm not on a par with Lorna but I play guitar usually about 2 or 3 hours after work. Lots of classical but a wide range of music. Playing is very much like meditating in a way but it definitely gets the old synapses firing. I'm hoping that it keeps my brain as sharp as hers is.... Oh, I almost forgot. I told her the response she got from this thread and she was almost moved to tears. Thanks to you and your friends.
