The new Bravia LCD panels are 1080p. Their plasmas have always been awful and they never really put an effort into catching up. The rear projection SXRD is a pretty good entry point right now for people wanting 1080p in the 50 to 70 inch range.

I have the 360 but I do like the Nintendo games since I enjoy their franchises and the memories. My first video game console was a Telstar Pong unit so that right there will date me somewhat.
