You're the one insulting a poster without real arguments. I largely support DougSF's post, posted the arguments for it, and you did not counter those arguments.

It is not up to me to counter speculation with more speculation. It is up to the original poster to post facts.
No. First and for all it's up to you to provide arguments for your insults. Secondly I provided arguments for his claims that largely support him. I also showed your arguments wanting. You had no basis to insult him.

He also did call AMD liars by direct implication:
"That last quote is funny. A bunch of baloney, instead of the real reason."
Where is the doubt there ?
Oh you meant that quote (see how being explicit helps others to respond more directly?; I thought you were refering to the first part of his original post). In this case however I agree with him too. I thought that was clear by now. It's hardly the only reason. It's simply the only reason they want to highlight. Some call it lie by omission, others a white lie, some the truth (although not complete). Anyone can take their pick. Sales/marketing people will often take the latter, I take the first. Fact is it's only partially true while AMD PR statement made it sound like 'complete' truth.

Please no insults without rather good explicit arguments.
