Stephen, I will put my $0.02 in here. I owned Cirrus during they glory days of 94/95 (still own a small position). I sold most of my position when it started to become evident they were loosing part of the graphics accelerator market. I went looking for who took that position from them. It was S3. I have been buying S3 for about six months. They have over half the market for graphics accelerators now. Go and read the "S3 - Multimedia Place 2B" thread or something close to that name. They are the best play for the next 12 months. They have bracketed themselves in the mid range, high volume business. They have at least 5 of the top 10 PC manufacturers. Read back for about 2 to 3 months in the thread and you will see what I mean.

On the other hand, I have to agree with Geek. I like this company for their diversification. They are in plenty of businesses. I also believe they will come out with a kick butt graphics product for the next generation. They missed the first generation of 3D stuff and thats how they lost the graphics accelerator market.

Comments on the Net Computer (response to Geek's comments):

- Great for business Intranets
- Home use -- not likely. Web TV will be used for those people who want Internet access but lack the need or want for a full up system.

Just my opinion.
