I believe the "telecom/internet sector, including their equip suppliers" are the key drivers for most of the semi and therefore semi-equip companies. Looks like the telecom/internet sector is finally looking up. Today's durable goods report showed good order growth in telecom equipment and GLW just pleased analysts. Internet ad spending meanwhile was up 27%. Sam
