Correct, they all get to at leat 18".
There are stingrays sold as Teacup Stingrays that supposedly stay small. They're usually Colombian Histrix stingrays that are next to impossible to keep alive so they die b4 they get big. The same stingrays shipped from Brazil do reasonably well in captivity. I think the Colombian ones may need more salt and usually are shipped loaded with intestinal parasites. Worming them isn't difficult but usually by the time they're up for sale in a store it's all ready to late.
