Communications Research Releases Innovative TeleWRITER-AGS 3.0 for Beta Testing
Wednesday August 18, 1:54 pm ET

MAHWAH, N.J., Aug. 18, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Communications Research, Inc. (OTC BB:CRHI.OB - News) announced today they have completed testing of the new TeleWRITER-AGS (Advanced Graphic System) software and has released the product for final Beta Testing. Extensive system testing has been conducted at, and between, the corporate headquarters of Communications Research and TeleWRITER Corporation based in Tampa, Florida and the product is now ready for widespread dissemination to our Beta Test Power Users.

The company has selected several key power users of TeleWRITER to test the software system. A few of the Beta test sites for the new release of TeleWRITER-AGS include, the Arkansas School of Math and Science, Memorial University of Newfoundland, the National Weather Service, Red River Valley Subscription School, US Department of Fish and Game, and the US Forestry Service. Initial sales just to our Beta Testers alone could amount to millions of dollars. In addition, TeleWRITER has an aggressive marketing and exposition campaign beginning this Fall that increases the sales potential exponentially.

``The software is ready for release and it even exceeds our expectations for performance,'' said Jeff Cone, Chief Operating Officer of TeleWRITER Corporation. ``It provides the feature rich collaborative computing software, low price point and ease of interoperability distant learning and corporate conferencing markets have requested. We anticipate quickly re-capturing former clients and rapidly developing new clients with the product.''

TeleWRITER AGS (Advanced Graphics System) has not been upgraded for over 5 years but still commands a very loyal following. At its peak, TeleWRITER-AGS had approximately a 60% share of the collaborative computing market in the mid-1990s. TeleWRITER-AGS has maintained a significant market share in the collaborative computing market, which is predicted to exceed $3 billion this year.
