Press release yesterday reports McAfee has bought a product|
to be released in August that will competed with Symantec's
PC Anywhere and by any measure blow it away. They bought it
from an Australian professor, put him in charge of the project,
and endowed a Windows NT study center at the University there.
Sounds like MCAF has decided there are cheaper and more interesting
ways to use its excess cash than buying cos like Cheyenne. Good
news, but MCAF didn't move up that well today. Never mind, I'm in
this long term.
