Hi Thure- Seasons greetings to you. I'm almost into the other camp. I just decided that I can't spend any more time on systems if I still want to write the great American Application.

Now I'm XP everything. Microsoft still has it's drawbacks.
This morning I e-Mailed a downloaded BIOS from one system to another and Outlook refused to let me see the file because it was an .exe. I guess that's Microsoft's new approach to security- don't let the user do anything.

After a half hour spent trying to figure out how to get my .exe I gave up and used a diskette.

Here was the help:

Attachment file types blocked by Outlook
There are two levels of attachment security. Access to level 1 files is blocked and can't be changed. When you receive an attachment with a level 2 file type, you will be prompted to save the file to your hard disk. If you use Microsoft Exchange Server, your administrator can add and remove file types for both levels of e-mail security. If a file type is added to both levels, it will be treated as a level 1 file type.

I figured I would have to buy Exchange Server to solve my problem.

I did start using Netscape 6.1 the other day when I ran into a cookie problem with Explorer and what I've seen I like. I even signed up for a Netscape eMail account. Zap my SI profile if you want to e-mail me at my new home.

Harvey
