|there are some sites on the internet that have purposefully altered the Qur'an in an effort to create widespread misunderstandings and confusion. I am aware of about five such sites, and I am not going to get into who is doing this and why.|
the point here is, ANY Joe Shmo who knows Arabic can publish an adulterated version of the Qur'an in different parts of the world. However, that does not make it an authenticated version of the Qur'an NOR does it even make it Qur'an.
that is why it is important to verify the authenticity of the Qur'an at hand before making a statement such as "the Qur'an says such and such"
and if you noticed, I did not post any links to any site that has Qur'an on the internet except the sites sponsored by The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, and the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Studies... no, I am not from Saudi Arabia, I just know that Saudi Arabia goes to extreme measures in verifying any Qur'an printed or used there.
