After reading all those analyst's projections such as this, "Analysts predict that worldwide 3G subscribers will exceed 505 million by 2010." Source: Baskerville Communications
I decided to create my own analysis outfit.

Since the business is very small at the moment, I have to use my house as an office and my family as partners.

My research in metro optical access:
By Michael Murphy,

This is the pen name of Luisa, my daughter doubling as telco consultant.

"Luisa if you were an ILEC (incumbent Local Exchange Carrier) what would you do to stop Metro Optical access even before it starts?"

She throws Barney across the room and switches off 'Cartoon Network' on TV. (Which means she was treating my question very seriously!)

Luisa said: "Well, I will just started fuelling some stories about VDSL and huge bandwidth across 5.000 ft span of copper cable to deliver video and stuff. (My wife across the kitchen shouts: "Don't make me laugh, that I spill hot water from my cooking pots!) Giving this touting of VDSL -Luisa continues- any investor considering Optical Metro Access would run away from Metro Optical Access like the bad guys run away from the "Power Puff Girls".

Then she stopped and look at me: "Daddy, you are not thinking about investing on that, are you?" she asked putting her hand on my forehead to see if I have fever. "No, I'm just trying to testing your skills on Last Mile market." I replied. (keeping an eye in my wife holding a rolling pin ready to whack my head). She has been like that since I bought more Siemens shares with the proceeds from the sale of her Volvo when I left Stockholm.

Such analysis deserves a reward: "I will take you to Letnany 'Blue Lagoon Water Park' this afternoon because you really knows access stuff!

"And you've get to buy two more Pokemons!" she replied. Employees those days are very greedy. I can tell you!
