About RSA SecurID® Authentication Software
RSA SecurID® authentication software is a leading solution for two-factor user authentication. RSA SecurID software is designed to protect valuable network resources by helping to ensure that only authorized users are granted access to e-mail, Web servers, intranets, extranets, network operating systems and other resources. RSA SecurID authenticators function similarly to ATM cards, requiring users to identify themselves using a combination of two unique factors -- something they have (the authenticator) and something they know (a PIN) -- before they gain access to network resources.
The RSA SecurID family offers a wide range of easy-to-use authenticators, from time-synchronous tokens to smart cards, that help to create a virtually impenetrable barrier against unauthorized access, thereby helping to safeguard network resources from potentially devastating accidental or malicious intrusion. |
