OTG's DiskXtender Demonstrated in Broadcast Applications At NAB's Convergence of Entertainment and Technology
BETHESDA, Md., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- OTG Software (Nasdaq: OTGS - news) today announced that it is teaming with ASACA, a leader in manufacturing products for the broadcast and DVD storage markets worldwide, at the National Association of Broadcasters NAB 2000 Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, to demonstrate a variety of broadcast applications using ASACA's DVD-RAM libraries and OTG's DiskXtender storage software.

In the ASACA booth (No. M9335), OTG's DiskXtender will be working with an ASACA DVD library in RAID mode using an Ultera Systems RAID controller addressing large broadcast files at high transfer rates. With Leitch Technology (NAB Booth #L9328), DiskXtender will be used for a high-performance, low-cost video archiving system. At the InfoValue Computing booth (NAB #M7450), DiskXtender will be used for high-performance video storage on InfoValue's broadcast video server. At InnovaCom Inc.'s booth (NAB #M10160), DiskXtender will store a broadcast feed encoded into MPEG.
